Julia started in the post as Associate Director of Education in October 2019 Previously she held the position of Head of Workforce Education & Development at The Christie NHS Foundation Trust and has also been the Education Lead for a large community care NHS Foundation Trust.
She is a Registered Nurse, has been a Midwife and is a Specialist Community Public Health Practitioner/ Health Visitor and Non-medical prescriber.
She has a BA in Health Studies, a BSC in Public Health, a Postgraduate Diploma in Professional Education - on NMC register as a Practice Teacher/lecturer and a MEd She is also a qualified Coach and Mentor for the Leadership Academy
Julia is passionate about education across the NHS and care workforce and believes that it underpins high quality patient services.
